Our first house guests!

So for the first time since we moved into the apartment we had guests! Nicci, Jonathan, and Brogan came over to have dinner with us and play games for the evening.

Some time after having chips and dip some body mentioned tea so we boiled some water and nicci and jonathan picked out one of Chris's million tea flavors (he would buy a box of tea bags to try it and then decide he didn't like it so our two layer fruit basket is now filled with tea instead of fruit because it's the only convenient place to put it! : ) anyway, nicci found this wild raspberry herbal tea while jonathan and chris picked the spiced black chai tea. The only tea i've found that I like so far is herbal peppermint so i stuck with hot chocolate, but then i smelled Chris's spiced tea and it smelled like christmas so i tasted it and was incredibly dissapointed. It smelled like it was going to be very rich and tasty but it turned out to be hot water that smelled good. there was hardly any taste at all.

Here Brogan had been playing with our bikes that were leaning against the wall for lack of a better place to put them and his fingers turned black! He was not happy about this, Brogan is very clean and does not like to feel messy!! he looked like he was about to cry until I got him excited about taking a picture!

Brogan started playing with the exercising things so Chris showed him how to use the rolly thing (this is the technical term for the black wheel thingy.)

At one point Chris asked Brogan if he liked his hair and then proceeded to ask him if he wanted to have a pony tail like uncle Chris. : D Brogan was excited and wore his little ponytail the rest of the night! Nicci told us that she's tried to play with his hair and put it in a ponytail before to play around but he always takes it out a few minutes later, Chris was incredibly pleased with himself. Later in the evening Nicci put her hand on the back of Brogan's head while she kissed his forehead and he started saying "My hair!! Be careful of my hair!!! : ) it was sooooo cute!!!

After playing a few rounds of nertz while Brogan watched Enchanted on the laptop we said goodnight, it was a really great evening and we've decided to make it a point to have a dinner/game night at least once a month!
